Kim Price is a native Californian who's interest of photography began in her early teens. She began with a Vivitar 110 compact camera. She moved into 35mm and began taking courses to develop her hobby. She began processing her own film and developing prints in the darkroom. Black and White was her main interest at the time. As digital photography started becoming more accessible she moved into that area. She now edits her work through Photoshop and prints using Epson printers. Kim has been influenced by the work of Ansel Adams, Edward and Brett Weston, John Sexton, and Galen Rowell to name a few. She is also motivated by lesser known artists who's work is displayed in art festivals, art galleries and various other venues. Kim enjoys photography as a hobby and enters various contests and art shows where she has received an array of awards. Her favorite genres are landscape and nature photography.
